Dr. Hughie Tsang

Dr Hughie Tsang is a paediatric ophthalmic surgeon and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO). He completed his medical qualifications at the University of Queensland, his ophthalmic training at John Hunter Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital and his paediatric fellowship at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada.

He has a research degree on prevention of myopia progression, has published widely and is actively involved with teaching ophthalmology in Sydney and internationally. He is fluent in spoken and written Chinese. He is passionate about restoring sight and in particular helping children develop their full visual potential.
He currently consults at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Toronto, Maroubra, Miranda and Annandale. He operates at Sydney Children's Hospital and Warners Bay Private Hospital.
